DJ 'tWitch' died by suicide, and since the news broke, social media has been in a frenzy, urging people to check in on their "strong" friends. But what does that mean? How are we checking in? In this episode, RP talks about the importance of developing a mechanism/ system to check in with all of our loved ones (not just the strong and happy ones) and being intentional and empathetic in our connections.
Reducing the risk of suicide is a collective community effort. We have to start viewing these issues as communal and not just individual ones.
